Sermon: Paul Washer - A Foundation for Biblical Dating/Courtship and Much More!

After a Father's of Providence meeting last year, I was listening to a sermon by a Mr. Paul Washer that really tugged @ my heart. I shared it then with a few people and felt the Fathers of Providence blog would be a great place to share it now as well.

It seems to fit in well with the message from that night (we were discussing the book Radical by: David Platt) and it also hit home hard because it is directed towards husbands and fathers (albeit future husbands and fathers). It is a message from a college seminar on biblical courtship that touches on so much. As it is the first message of the seminar, there is really little about courtship, with the majority about the weakness of “American Christianity”, the cost of discipleship, priorities in ministry, marriage, dating (for all those dad’s giving advice to their teenagers), raising children... many of the same topics/issues that we all face as husbands,fathers, and Christians.

It is ~ 73 minutes long, but I believe well worth the time investment. Other messages by Mr. Washer have been a tremendous blessing to me in the past and I feel this one will be as well. I hope it is a blessing to any who listen.
